Basic Package VERACITY®

Standard Package VERACITY®

Includes everything in the Basic Package, plus screening for sex chromosome aneuploidies:

• XXYY syndrome

Full Package VERACITY®

Includes all of the above, plus screening for selected microdeletions:

VERAgene®

Important Suitability
Information

To ensure accurate and reliable results, the following considerations apply:


• The Extended Package cannot be performed in IVF pregnancies using donor eggs.
• In twin pregnancies or pregnancies with a vanishing twin, only the Basic and Extended packages 
are available.
• Testing is not offered for twin or vanishing twin pregnancies resulting from IVF with donor eggs.
• VERAgene® is available only for IVF pregnancies using the mother’s own eggs.
• VERAgene® requires:
> a blood sample from the biological mother, and
> a buccal (cheek swab) sample from the biological father.
• Testing is not offered to patients with:
> active malignancy or history of cancer,
> bone marrow or organ transplantation,
> recent blood transfusion.
• Additional factors, such as body weight, medication, or relevant medical history, 
may affect test suitability.
